Do you love Poe? Because I do, and what I would give to be able to sit down and talk to him. To really know what goes on in his head would be something many people would love to know. Sadly, Poe is gone and the only real way we can get to know him is by reading his work and learning some fun facts about him.

Those facts about Poe are definitely interesting. Some of them I already knew about, by some of them surprised me to say the least, like the fact that he supposedly wrote with a cat on his shoulders, makes me a little creeped out! Also the fact that was taken in by another family after his mother had died and his father left, only to waste every single penny they had every given him on gambles. Poe had such a rough life, I don't think anyone would don't that he suffered from depression, and that is in reflection of his works.
